Bellwether sits upstream of the trade. We buy tubulars from mills, chemicals from producers and cargoes from refiners, then move them into markets that need them, including through our own West African distribution arm.
The group is headquartered in the United Arab Emirates and structured around six business lines. Energy is the largest, but the desk also trades agricultural products, industrial minerals, metals and petrochemicals. MEA Energy Trading, our wholly owned Nigerian subsidiary, handles downstream fuel distribution across 16 West African nations.
